History:Maps of World App Reviews

Two questions: 1. Is there an ad free version available? These ads are very distracting, and literally block out parts of some maps. I think I may start work on an app to track products annoyingly advertised to discourage my purchase of them in the future. 2A. For full functionally, do I need to buy all the extra packaged? Europe -------------$8 Americas ----------$5 Africa ---------------$5 Asia -----------------$5 Middle East -------$5 Ocean --------------$5 World, Thematic --$5 History Today------$3 Total----------------$41 2B. If I do buy some or all of these extra map packages, do all the adds go away? PS: I do understand the essential purpose of ads, but there are numerous much less obnoxious ways to present them. And i believe ad free versions should be available at a reasonable premium -- you do need good reviews, after all. As the ads are now, theyre pretty much a show stopper. Hope you can and do respond. Its a little slow to load the maps but other than that anyone with a iPod touch should get it.

Overall its a very good app! I think more world maps such as historical blaeu house maps would be a great addition.

A great map to add would be one of Pangea. The continent that existed when all lands werr together millions of years ago.

How can you tell about history without referring even once to The Ottoman Empire which lasted for 600 years?

Didnt even load! Was hoping to use this as an aid with my sons homework. He was very disappointed.

Deleted. Will not tolerate ads being sneaked into an app. Make a paid version without ads.

Ads? Seriously, no one is complimenting you on the ads. At least make a way to buy out of them. PLEASE! Thousands would buy!

Wanted to show my daughter where Switzerland is and there was no current map. Fail.

I agree with the previous commenters about the ads being distracting, but since I usually use this app offline its not a problem. The maps themselves are a treasure, really fascinating. The option to sort by category or by era is a good addition.

Before the first map had even come to focus there was an ad at the bottom. Deleted and disappointed. Seung-Bin Cho, what are you thinking.

Despite seeming to be very useful, I still cannot get a map to come up. Each inquiry is met with the "unable to find" response. I am a teacher and an app that says it is easy to use, should be easy to use.

Absolutely a must have for the history buff! I cant imagine the time it took to gather all these maps for our viewing pleasure. Thanks!

Purchased app and now it has ads.

App only has Europe, western history maps. No Asia no Africa no Mid East no china(only 3 or four). How come the name history of the world then?!

The app def needs to be updated. Its ok, but focused mostly on the West and older maps are outdated
